HOSPICE OF WAKE COUNTY GOLF CLASSIC

RALEIGH – Organizers of the Hospice of Wake County Golf Classic have announced plans for the 4th annual tournament, May 19 at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary. The event is planned as a Captain’s Choice competition with awards to the top teams and additional prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, and putting contest.

Lead sponsors for the 2008 edition of the classic are Cree, First Research, Atlantic Tire and Service, Misys Healthcare, and the Alexander Charitable Foundation. In the first three years, the event has raised more than $94,000 for Hospice of Wake County, this area’s only non-profit hospice.

Entry fee is $125 per player or $500 per team. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, range balls, cart rental, boxed lunch, beverages, and gift bag.
