HOSPICE OF WAKE HONORS JAMES CARROLL V
RALEIGH, NC – James R. Carroll, V received the Dr. William M. Dunlap Award "in recognition of excellence in service and dedication to the Hospice mission" at Hospice of Wake County’s annual dinner, held on April2.
The Award, named in honor of a founding member of Hospice ofWake County, Inc., has been presented only 10 times during the organization’s 30-year history to those who have achieved the highest level of leadership in a volunteer role.
Carroll is associate vice president, investment officer with A.G.Edwards & Sons, Inc., a division of Wachovia Securities in Raleigh. He served as Hospice of Wake County’s board president from 2004-07, during which time he led the organization in its goal of building an inpatient and administrative facility to serve Wake and surrounding counties.
This facility is scheduled to begin construction in May and open in the fall of 2009.
