WHAT IS CAMP REFLECTIONS?
Camp Reflections is a weekend day camp for grieving children and teens (ages 5-17 years). It will include activities such as music, arts & crafts and games. Grief related activities are conducted in small and large group settings and are led by trained facilitators.
Camp Reflections participants will have the opportunity to…
- connect with other kids and families that have experienced a loss
- better understand grief
- find safe and creative ways to give voice to feelings and thoughts about their grief
- nurture memories
- build self-confidence and self-worth
- take time to play, laugh, cry, and feel a sense of normalcy

FRIDAY, APRIL 30 — 6:15 - 8:30 PM
6:15-7:30 pm
- Opening Ceremony with parent/guardian
7:30-8:30 pm
Individual group time for children and teens, with an optional parent education session on “Children and Grief”. Dinner provided
SATURDAY, MAY 1 — 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
9 am-2:30 pm
- Camp activities for children and teens
2:30-3:15 pm
- Family Memory Stone Making (with parent/ guardian)
3:15-4 pm
- Closing ceremony Lunch and snacks provided
COST… There is no fee; however, donations are gratefully accepted.
